Handrails

With our experience and expertise we can manufacture and install handrails to suit all applications, whether you require a handrail for a ramp, walkway or staircase. At Newton Metal Services handrails can be manufactured from mild steel, stainless steel or timber, dependent on your individual requirement. Our design team offer advice on the most functional bracket and fixing detail and we work closely with our clients to secure the best solution. Please see details of our various handrails below.

Mild Steel Handrails

Handrails are more often that not specified as being manufactured from mild steel and as an option can be supplied in either a hot dipped galvanised or painted finish. Whether you require handrails to be fixed to gyproc walls or concrete block work, we offer a finish from square or circular hollow section, mild steel flat bar or solid round bar and can be formed to suit any site requirements.

Stainless Steel Handrails

Stainless steel offers an option of a higher specification and aesthetic finish. Whether your handrail is for an internal or external application we will manufacture from a suitable grade of material and have the expertise to offer our clients various options, from a mill finish to a highly polished quality finish.

Timber Handrails

Timber is offered in either circular or square sections manufactured to the client's preferred dimensions. However, if your requirement calls for a shaped profile cut, then this service is also available. Timber handrails can be fixed to either mild steel or stainless steel brackets and if preferred for added strength, can be supported with steel flat bar on the underside of the timber.
